mY ArIZoNa TriP @ tHE WaLlAcE's
It’s been over a week and still had not even posted any posts about the last part of my trip to Arizona!
So I thought I had better get on the job :) (right?)
I spent the last 3 days of my AZ-trip at the Wallace’s, I had a wonderful time…
My first day there: we arrived in Mayer around 1:00. Uncle Russell and Aunt Elisabeth dropped us (Zachary, Wesley, Serenity, Audrey and I) off at the start of their very, very long driveway (its three miles long). They went grocery shopping. So we started walking… and walking… We took a shortcut and crossed a stream. We had about a half-mile to go, but Seth and Justus picked us up…(Seth had drove his truck), we hopped in the back of the truck. We drove past the goat pen and Zachary hopped off, (he had to dispose of a goat carcass(I guess the goat just killed over)). Then the rest of us went up to the house and Wes, Serenity and I jumped in the blazer and Serenity drove us down to show me the goats. THEY ARE SO CUTE! Most of the kids are Nubian but some are Nubian/Boor. I then got to drive the Blazer back…I guess it suffices to say I need some more practice :P ok… a lot.
We then went back and got settled in…That night we went to Alicia Strunk’s house for game night. I got to see Hannah and meet Emily, Logan and Dillon Wallace. We ate some delish chili and cornbread. We played -killer ono- and –perfect stranger- A LOT OF FUN :)
Second day at Wallaces: Serenity and I just played around most of this day :) I got to do books with Zachary and Serenity and really enjoyed myself!
Third (and last) day: Serenity made egg-mcmuffins and all of us went down to the creek to have breakfast. I walked up a hill with Zachary and Serenity and took some pictures. Went back to the house and did books. Played a game with Serenity and read a book. Played a game of wallyball with Zachary, Wes and Serenity. Read emails…Went on a four-wheeler ride with Serenity(I drove 2!) Ate supper….stayed up late playing wallyball and adding pictures to my Picasa web album…
Well that about sums up my FANTASTIC tRiP!
Have a Wonderful Day Everyone~

FIRST DAY IN AZ~!
That night I got ready to go to the first night of Harmony in the Desert (tape service). I left early with, Austin, Enoch and Hadassah. We were only halfway down the road when we got a call from my cousin Grace that a trailer was on FIRE! (yikes). We did a u-e in the middle of the road and headed back… (You see, my cousin’s livelihood is running a rather large trailer park). We drove back in and saw that it was a trailer right across from my cousins Jordan and Martha’s home! We all jumped out. It was total chaos! People were running around and smoke was everywhere . My Uncle, Austin, and some other helpful guys were taking turns inside, spraying the fire. And my cousin Enoch was on the roof spraying in. Jordan was spraying in the windows. Martha was on the phone with the fire department….(My cousins had already turned off the electric and gas)…. Hadassah, Brother Peterson, Lilly, Martha and I ran to the end of the road and started directing the Fire-engines.
We were all a little worried because the other trailers could also catch on fire. (One trailer’s side was already melting!). Then who knows what else would catch on fire! The firemen finally got the fire under control…(with no little help from my cousins)! 4 Fire trucks came, 2 ambulances and even a hook and ladder truck!
(The fire was a grease fire. The man who lived there had been cooking French-fries and had gotten a call from his wife. He went to talk to her in his bedroom and some sparks must have caught a curtain. The man barely made it out…he took his cat along.) (The trailer was totaled)…(needless to say, his cooking caused quite a stir)!
I then left to Harmony with some of the others who were able to leave. I made it just before it started!
Well that is what happened the first day of my trip!
More pix: ………
The pictures are not that good, sorry!

Arrival in AZ~
How are y’all doing this winter??? So far I have not had to face this freezing weather as I have spent the last week or so in the Arizona desert (I know…LUCKY me!(sorry))!
I went down to be at Harmony in the Desert ,and also to see some of my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.
It was one of the most wonderful times of my life :)
I left on the January the 11th……Hannah came with me,(or rather I went with her). We had a long flight out and arrived! My Aunt Rachel and Uncle Arne were there to pick us up. We went to get our luggage, only to find that a suitcase of Hannah’s could not be found anywhere! We spent almost a half hour looking around for it and then went to the help desk and asked about it and then filed a claim… It had been left back in Philly! (It was sent to her later that week).
After that was all resolved, we drove over to Olive Garden where we met up with Hannah’s Aunt Ruth, and dropped off Hannah… (only after we had eaten our fill!).
Then I was taken to Tucson….I took some pictures along the way....
ENJOY!

Another Post About~ Ice Skating "j
~With that opening, I will proceed to do a post on: (what else?) Ice Skating.
Lately when the ice is solid on the pond, my family and I like to get out when we can. Yesterday we went Ice skating with some others… The guys played a brutal game of hockey. While us girls skated around… Showing each other what we could do, and learning new techniques.
It was so much fun! Here are some pictures:

Engaged in some friendly conflict....
