What's Been Happening....Lately

We have been doing a lot of different things recently (other than school!) and I thought I would just share some of the latest happenings with y'all :)

The first thing we did last week was go to Hershey Park...FuN, fUN, FUN!
We go every year with my Uncle Steve, Aunt Jen, Pat, my Grandparents and almost all of us cousins. There are so many fun rides at Hershey Park and just being with the others is fantastic....It all makes for a very fun day.
Speaking of Hershey Park there are some awards I would like to hand out>

Award for the most adventurist "grownup" gggoooesss to: Steven Sanger!!!
I have 2 awards for the Best Troopers and they are awarded to: Grandpa & Grandma...bravo!!!!
Award for Fantastic Trail Food is presented to...Jennifer Sanger (clapping-clapping)
Most Likely to be a Roller Coaster Kids: Lincoln and Hope
I HAVE ONE PERSON WHO RODE ALL THE ROLLER COSTER RIDES IN THE PARK> Award for the MOST DARINGEST GOES TO>>>> Kaitlyn Sanger...whhhooo!

I really had a great time this year at Hershey Park :) :) :)

~~~~~~~~
It was Friday...We went to the range to sight in our new 22. Brother Sam Miller came with us and helped us get the sight just right! :) Then everyone got to take 4 shots at a target.
We have quite a few good shooters in my family!
~~~~~~~~
Next was the Bow Fest that the Fogelsangers give every year for all the local bow hunters.
We arrived a little late...then the hunters pulled their bow strings for about an hour and then it was time for supper.
After a delicious meal some of the girls gathered a "few" locust (a couple hundred!!!) and put them in a line...While they were doing this, it was time for the contest. You had to put an arrow straight through an apple, the "winner" was: BYRAN GARRETT!!! But everyone was a winnner :)

~~~~~~~~
On Saturday we cleaned up the yard and had some fun....
~~~~~~~~

Monday afternoon, we had supper with the Sanger7 and then went to a town rodeo!
There was pole bending, cowgirl dress up, round-up, and then last was musical bags...
lotsa fun! There were lots of Amish contestants and Mennonites, it was a lot of fun :)
~~~~~~~~
Well thats about all! Hope you enjoyed this little insight into my week!
HAVE A WONDERFUL ONE YOURSELF!!!!!
"YPT Young People's Trip"
These last couple days Abigail and I have been on a trip with some young people from around here and 3 girls from NJ.
We started out Wen, at like 7:00 p.m. It took us 2 1/2 hrs to get to our destination, when we arrived we had a small devotion and a snack....then bed time! It took us a little while to get wound-down though!
The nextday we had breakfast, then devotions (dev)... We played some Bible Baseball (the ball being a Bible or Bro. Branham question). After that time for lunch! YUMMY :)
Then the guys went swimming in the BIG pool (it was very wide and the deepest part was 8 1/2) while us girls played some games. The guys got to go swimming, then it was our turn, and boy...was it fantastic!!!!! We had so much fun doing cannon balls, swimming, pencils, and setting in the hot-tub...we were able to fit 17 girls in there at one time! After that was supper then my Uncle Steven gave a devotional on Prayer... At around 9:00 or so 3 girls form NJ arrived, we gave them a surprise by turning off all the lights and then when Uncle Eddie and Bro. David brought them in we yelled out welcome....They were very, very surprised! The night went on and the guys got to go swimming again, then bed time!!!!
The next day was a lot alike but we also went on a 3 or maybe 4 mile walk to see some windmills.
Saturday we drove for an hour and then we went on a hike, we saw tons of waterfalls and I got a lot of neat pix. The hike was about 5 miles long.....
When we got back to the lodge we decorated the eating room, with the colors blue and orange. For the banquet!!! The banquet was epic :)
The last day went a lot like the first two days.....lotsa fun!
To go on this YPT you had to end this sentence " I am a believer, I am........
and back up our topic with 3 Bible verses and 3 Bro Branham quotes.
My topic was " I am a believer, I am perfect. Abigail's was, I am a believer, I am a light.
While we were out there we memorized The Lords Prayer and Proverbs 18:21
Well I guess there's not much more to say! It was a totally EPIC trip :) Thanks to everyone who made it possible!
I had a really awesome time...
A New Version of HOME, HOME ON THE RANGE
Oh give me a pot..
An' your old huntin' gun........
And I'll stay away all the year long!
For I love those old woods, where the pickings are few!
And pine needle soup is our fare...
Verse:
Home, home in the woods....
Where the ticks and mosquito's feed!!!
Where seldom is found a flat bedding ground...
And the lake is our bathtub and sink!
P.S. >Sing this to the tune of Home, Home on the Range :p
Well we started school this Monday. It has been a little hard getting back into the old routine of school. I think that most of us in my family are already counting down the days till next summer *ha* *ha*
This year I am in 10th grade, only 2 more years of school....Unless, perhaps collage!
Here are some pix of us studious children :)
