My Week So Far~

Hello folks,
Yes, I know aren't yall surprised? I'm actually doing a post!! (no need to look so shaken up..*wait* are you fainting??)

My week started when I woke up Monday morning...and went to Martins Woodshop.
Lincoln is in woodworking for 4-H (he has made a birdhouse already!) and this tour was part of the learning experience. Us girls were able to go along to and it counted as a field trip :)
It was really neat seeing the whole working process, and then the finished product!
Our tour guide: Calvin Roop

This machine was fun to watch, it does all those holes in the bottom of your table.

This is in the staining/painting room, what a smell!

FINSHED product

Then came Tuesday....and on Wednesday, this is          what I/we did:

I worked outside on my violin....love playing those fiddle songs!

Then after that....

It was time to work with our goats......We try to work with them everyday, so that they will walk good on the chain when they are in the show!

Before Church, Papa took some pictures....

I think my week has gone rather well so far!
What do you think? Post a comment!

          BIG NEWS!!!
2 men try to blow up bus and suffer major burns

Late Friday morning two men were found trying to blow up a bus. Thankfully the police got there in time and were able to apprehend the men.
The men are now in the hospital, “they suffered 3 degree burns on their lips when they tried to blow up the bus by blowing on the exhaust pipe” said Chief Hambone.
“Times are getting dangerous” says Miss Chicken, who reported the two terrorists to the police.

4-H Project, GOATS

~I have been in 4-H since I was 8 yrs. Old~ I started out in the Lebanon Chicken Club (I quit this club after 2 years). Then I went on to 4-H Friends (where I still am enrolled),(Abigail and Lincoln are now in this club with me)… now this year I’m also in the Lebanon Goat 4-H club… of course Abigail and Lincoln are with me too!!!!~
~For the past few years us “kids” have been very interested in showing goats in our local fair. At first we only wanted to show our crossbreeds, but then we got into the “spirit” of things and yesterday... we went over to some fellow 4-H’ers and purchased our first Boer goats, for $50.00 each (great price).
Each of us got a goat: Abigail’s is a boy and his name is BUCK, he is the friendliest of our three :)  Lincoln got a girl… her name is STARLIGHT, she is our only girl. Then there is ***Tyler*** :) he’s mine!
I am really excited about our 4-H goats… Buck, Starlight and Tyler are going to be living with us till the end of July (fair week).
