Recently my Mommy redecorated the ½ bathroom in our abode. It turned out lovely and she is so excited about it :)
First Mom and Papa painted it a medium brown color (she also painted our “entry” hall that color). Then she did some other various touch ups, and do-das. Then today Aunt Jen came over and helped out with the final touches.

Another Birthday is taking place pretty soon! Miss B is going to be turning 5 tomorrow : D
For those of you who aren't familiar with her, she is my (currently) 4 year old sister. The spunky "bright-eyes" of the family, the one who always has us rolling in laughter and gasping in shock!
It seems almost unfathomable that she is already turning 5, I still remember when she was born :)
She is the caboose in our family, though I cannot say that she is always chugging along behind...she is usually up front, excited and ready for anything that may come her way!
Bethany is the "brave one" in our family... she has never been shy or afraid of dark dungeons (mainly the basement), and it is not uncommon to see her saving her sister from the "buggies".... *lol*
On the other hand, she loves bright, sparkly things....like Moms fancy clips....dolly's, school work, etc.
I know I say this all the time, but she really does have this uncanny ability to look entirely innocent when proven guilty ! Believe me, this I should know :) Yesterday, Lincoln found her in my shower gels....looking very innocent...even though she had it in a silky sheen all over her legs....we won't go into that though, not a happy ending for some party's, if you know what I mean!
Bethany's favorite foods are candy, and hot-dogs. No I mean SHE LOVES CANDY. Doing almost anything to get to it, she often finds herself in some sticky situations! (Pun intended)
Outdoors is where you will most often find her, usually with the animals...feeding them or petting them! She is their best friend :)

I totally recommend these brownies! They taste like a chocolate cheesecake, so scrumptious.
Cream Cheese Brownies Recipe
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and place the rack in the center of the oven.Have ready a 9 inch (23 cm) square baking pan that has been lined with aluminum foil.
In a heatproof bowl, placed over a saucepan of simmering water, melt the butter and chocolate. Remove from heat and stir or whisk in the sugar and vanilla extract. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the flour and salt and stir vigorously until the batter is smooth and glossy (about one minute). Remove 1/2 cup (120 ml) of the brownie batter and set it aside. Spread the remainder of the brownie batter evenly onto the bottom of the prepared pan.
Then, in the bowl of your food processor (or with a hand mixer), process the cream cheese just until smooth. Add the sugar, vanilla, and egg and process just until creamy and smooth (do not over process). Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the brownie layer. Spoon 16 small dollops (4 rows with 4 dollops of brownie batter in each row) of the reserved brownie batter evenly on top of the cream cheese filling. Run a knife or wooden skewer back and forth through the two batters until you have a marble effect.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the brownies are set and the cream cheese is just beginning to brown. (A toothpick inserted into the brownie comes out with just a few moist crumbs.) Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool completely. Then cover and refrigerate the brownies until they are firm enough to cut into squares (several hours or even overnight). Once chilled, remove the brownies from the pan by lifting with the ends of the foil and transfer to a cutting board. With a sharp knife, cut into 16 squares. It is a good idea to have a damp cloth nearby to wipe your knife between cuts. These brownies can be stored in the fridge for several days. Serve cold or at room temperature.
Makes 16 - 2 inch (5 cm) squares.

My little cousin Patrick goes to school at Hershey Elementary. This week at their school, was International Fair Week. The public was invited, and you know us…anything for a field-trip day! So away we went :)
We entered the Hershey High School halls around 6:00pm. There were people talking and walking all around. The walls were lined with international flags and booths were up all over! First of all; Lincoln, Faith (an homeschooler friend of ours) and Bethany, picked up their passport books. The idea was to go around to the different countries / stations and get a stamp on their passport.
Our next stop was America… lol Now there were only 42 more country booths to go!
After about the third booth we stopped and watched the Small World Parade go by. (It was led by a Chinese Dragon!) We followed them into an auditorium. Where two ladies introduced all the different countries (that were represented in Hershey) / children. Then for a short time we listened to a Indian man play a drum, after that we continued on with our travels.
There were no two booths the same! At some there was candy (from that country), Toys (from that area), pictures, facts, activity’s, crafts, games, stickers, trading cards, photo booths (stick your head in and get a picture), etc! Sometime in between the stations we went into the cafeteria and got some different foods from various countries! I really enjoyed that part, and I think I could get used to eating most of the foods. So utterly delicious! After that (yummy) part, we continued on!

On Tuesday evening there was a party held at our local roller rink. For the 3 Sweets~ Lillia, Hope and Elaniah ~ in honor of their birthdays!
I wasn’t to sure about this whole roller skating thing… (see why here), and I had visions of being scraped off the floor…But to my surprise, I did alright (well, compared to Bethany) and I enjoyed the night with only one fall!
Aunt Jody did a fantastic job with the decorating. Unfortunately I have no pictures of it, so you will have to wait till Kaitlyn does a post! Thankfully though, some pictures were taken of everyone skating around : )
There were roller games played and it was total fun all around! The relay races were a blast !
The sweets were delish and the company was awesome. Thank you Sanger9 :) It was a wonderful party.

I've really been enjoying photography lately and so I thought I would do a photo-shot of our dog...Geneva. ~She is a Sheltie...which is basically a miniature sized "lassie". We have had her since she was a little puppy! Geneva is getting older, but she still retains that "puppy attitude", I don't think she will ever out grow it!
