A Thanksgiving Celebration!!

Yesterday we had many friends and family over for a Thanksgiving celebration.

Thanksgiving has always been my very favorite holiday. I think one of the reasons it’s my favorite is because I have lots of things to be thankful for!
                                                                          *****

I am thankful for the wonderful people we have over....

****
Another reason that I am thankful for Thanksgiving is because of the delicious food that is served!
The mashed potatoes!
Grandpa carving the turkey.
Mom working on the ham :)
Aunt Carol
The food...waiting to be eaten.
****

I am thankful for nice cousins that we can play and talk with!
David and Bethany :)
Josh and Lincoln, playing with legos!
Ping-pong with cousins can get pretty wild!
and funny !
Hope and I.
Dear little Elainah :)
Kaitlyn :)
You are soooo cute Joyanna!

I am very thankful that my Grandpa and Grandma from IL got to come down for a week.

My wonderful Grandparents!

I am so THANKFUL for the many things God has given me.

           Thankfully Yours,
                      Zoe

Oh give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

B is for Bethany !

Bethany is a little *sunshine* She is also my little 4yr old sister. Who gets into everything and anything, but always manages to look like she knows nothing about it !
She is hilarious and I'm loving watching her grow.

This is our blue eyed blondie:

She may be only 4 but she already has a sense of style. (Her own style):

Love it!!! Yes, I think she is a real cutie :)

------------------------------------------
Lincoln is Bethany's favorite playmate ... They do everything together, like robbing stagecoach's or catching up with bad guys. Better get out of these buckaroos way!

No surie, ya don't want ta get in our way :D

She loves trying new things...like walking around in snowshoes on the carpet, it took a little doing.

Speaking of trying new things, this is what I found when Mom called me yesterday to go get Bethany. I guess, that she had decided  the banana and peanut-butter tastes better when you grab a hunk of banana and mush it into the jar... what joy!
*see, I told you she always looks so innocent*
and...tada! Banana feast...err, yes it looks very yummy :P

Yep, that’s our princess!
I LOVE YOU BETHANY!!!

Keepers @ Home; A Meeting

Today Keepers was at our house! The topic was poems, and we each had to bring along a poem to recite.

Mom started off the class with a little speech about poems. She told us about different types of poems...(example):  Verse is a line of poetry. Quatrain a stanza or poem of four lines. You get the idea :)

Paying close attention!

Good job Mom :)

Then she paired us off in groups and we each had to write a different type of poem.
Elisabeth & I, working on our poem.
Working away!
What hard working poem writers :)

After that we had to recite the poems we had brought along....in front of everybody.
I thought that everyone did really well!

Kaitlyn doing; Psalm Of Life
Joanna, reading a poem that was made into a song!
Anna

After everybody had recited their poems and we had sang some songs....it was: Tea Party Time.

The food was delicious, and the company was wonderful :D Here are some pictures of the mouth-watering yummies!
Elisabeth....

Elainah :)
Just a picture of some of the pastry's...
Teacups galore!
Mmmm....which tea do I want?
Awe....Bethany !
The scones & Lemon bars
Grapes, cheese & crackers

Keepers was so much fun, thanks for coming everyone!

Have a wonderful week,

Zoë

A is for Animal (update)!

Remember all of those cute little animals we had this summer. Well the sad truth of it is…they all grew up : (

I know that I posted a lot about them when they were in their cute little “baby” stage, they were so CUTE! *and anyway* I got to thinking that I haven’t posted about them at all recently!

Some of the animals/birds, we don’t have anymore. Like Billy Boy (remember that cute little buckling?), or the turkey we had (Pocahontas)….we sold “BB” and Pocahontas…died….okay…we are eating her for Thanksgiving (you get the picture). Our fair Boer project-goats are gone as well. Alright, on with the post!

We still have our chickens and we are getting 13 eggs a day (imagine that)! I can still remember when they were just those cute little popcorn balls. Here is a picture, can you recognize them?

*sob* they grew up so fast!
Yeah, that's our rooster!

-----------------------------------------------------
Here are some pictures of our "baby" goats.
My baby :)....Snickerdoodle!
This is Mocha :)  Abigail's baby!
*and* of course I have to post some pictures of my kitty’s : )
Kilakilly (he is three years old and almost as small as a kitten)...
Pekub (Peek-a-Boo), my pretty calico!  ......Sorry, no pictures of Captain, he was not very picture friendly today :)

Well “a” is down, “b & c” to go!
Have a great weekend everyone,

Zippi
