Cocoa Had Twins! {Onyx and Eloise}

Yesterday evening when I went up to the barn to check on our does, I was excited to find that Cocoa had her babies! I was almost to the barn when I heard this little bleat, I peeked in and sure enough…The kids had arrived just seconds ago. They were still wet and Cocoa was cleaning them off.

They are so cute! The boy is all black with a white splotch on his forehead. The other one was a girl and she is all brown with some white.

Yes! It is over, the suspense and nervous attacks are done with and the recital is finished. Lately Abigail and I (and I am sure many others) have been in a frenzy of practicing for this event. It seems sort of like a shock that it is already over! I still can’t believe it : )

Thankfully everyone did GREAT….

So, does anyone want to see pictures?

Waiting to start!

A Week (or so) Review

Sorry everyone! This past week and this week have been very hectic....With finishing up school and going to CHAP (a home-school convention) and having different people over and Mothers Day. Just to mention a few!

Friday and Saturday were the home-school convention: where we go once a year to get the curriculum for the next school year. Every year they have various speakers, who encourage my parents and give them new ideas for the next year.  It is also where we go to get new reading material, which is my favorite part! I love reading, and G.A. Henty and Lamplighter are sold there....

The first day we all went and so did my Grandparents S. The next day only Mom and I were able to go. It was fun!

(no pictures, sorry!)

Sunday; as you all know (or I hope you know) was Mothers Day.  So after Church everyone came up to our house for a meal. Prepared by my Aunt's and Mom.  The (food) theme was Mexican, and it was delish!
After the meal the ***GUYS*** did the dishes... *clapping* It was a very enjoyable time with friends and family to celebrate the Mothers in our lives!                                     --I love you Mom--

Working hard!
Uncle Steve, loading the dishwasher!
Papa, cleaning...
Aunt Jen (who wanted to make sure this was all documented)

Then on Monday we had this wonderful family from Arkansas over.

(left to right)
David, Bro Lark, Sis Christie, (and these last 2 are PA folks)Uncle Ron and Aunt Carol

Sis Chris can play the piano AMAZINGLY (which is underestimate of the year). So Papa had us kids play a couple songs for her and then with her.   It was a fun time :) Thank you for coming over!

---------------

Well, that about wraps it all up.
Tomorrow night is piano recital night, so look forward to another post soon!

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

A Saturday!

Today (Saturday) was the finale Keepers At Home meeting.

Invitations were given out and around 60 people were able to come! At 10:00 people started arriving at Fontana Hall. Our Moms (with our help of course) had made a brunch featuring many verities of delicious foods. Hash browns, fattita, parfaits, muffins, sausage and danish’s, just to mention a few!

Us “Keepers Girls” were the servers, we also made sure that everyone had enough to drink.

After the yummy feast, Aunt Jody stood up and said a few words about our Club. Then it was our turn, (we each had memorized a number of scriptures according to our age (example: if you are ten you memorize ten verses). The boys went first (Lincoln and Joshua) and said their scriptures then it proceeded down the line of us girls. Everyone did very well! Then us girls sang three songs and that was the end of our presentation. Then there was a slide show to wrap it all up!  Everyone chatted for awhile after and then some helped clean up.

Thank you to everyone who came! It was so nice to have you there: ) A huge thanks to our Keeper Moms, y’all are awesome! Thanks so much. You did a wonderful job. We love you!
