God's Creation in Norway

Good Morning!

I woke up an hour ahead of time (at four instead of five), but didn’t realize it *ahhh* until I was drinking my morning cuppa coffee and getting ready to put my shoes on. In fact to be honest I didn’t even realize it at all... a bewildered Papa came into the kitchen squinted at me and asked “what are you doing up so early?” and a little light bulb came on in my head “Aha” ….that’s why I felt tired…and...the house phone really had the right time…

So to me the obvious thing to do would be not go back to bed, but to do a blog post :) I knew you would appreciate it.

Norway. Was. Beautiful.

In Norway we saw fjords, the ocean, sailboats, sand, snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, sheep, grass-roof's, cabins and cottages….Such diversity!

The cheese in Norway wasn't anything like Holland and they didn't serve cappuccinos. But I adapted quite nicely to the "tradition" of eating 5 times a day (and no, you didn't read that wrong! I really did say 5 times) and they also had delicious hot chocolate.

Enjoying our first Norwegian breakfast!
If you looked out the window you could see the ocean!

Hello up there!

Our wonderful Norwegian (and Canadian) friends!
Day 12~ London Bound!

I’m so glad that I took lots of pictures when I was overseas (just like everyone told me to!). But I have to say that the pictures I took do not even come close to catching how beautiful the sun setting over the ocean was or the majesty of the mountains and rushing of the waterfalls. Pictures can be so disappointing! I have an idea though (and it’s a fabulous one if I do say so myself!) about how you can see these beautiful scenes just the way I saw them: Go to Norway. You simply must.

Be sure to check back for part 3 as my (amazing) European adventure concludes in London!
